"What Do You See?"
As each day begins, we wonder what it will bring.
Whether the day dawns with a herald of sunshine,
or a pall of fog and clouds, is irrelevant.
Each day is a miracle,
and every second a moment of life to savor.
The gratitude that we still can achieve
or attempt to, is a blessing.
Every blade of grass beneath our feet,
the sand on the beach,
is a gift to be appreciated and enjoyed to the utmost.
To share them with another is an even greater blessing.
Look around you,
really look,
and see each and everything that is there.
How often do you recall seeing each and everything
that you have around you?
How often does one really look, and appreciate?
Tell me,
what you have seen,
the details,
the words you heard.
What did you see that was unusual?
What did you see that was special,
in a very unique way?
Yes, each day and each second
is a distinct and special blessing,
as well as privilege,
and the ability to appreciate that
is even more of a blessing.
